What Do You Do With an Idea?

This is another favorite book of mine! 

I actually bought it and have had all my daughter's teachers write a note of encouragement inside for her to read. 

We read this together and discussed the lessons of the book. The children came up with:

- never give up on your ideas

-your ideas can change the world

- believe in your ideas and don't be afraid

We then met with partners to share ideas that we have that could happen in 2nd grade, help us later in life, or just be a fun idea to try. Once the children each had an idea, they drew it and shared it with each other. Here are a few!
