Surveying the Students

The kids have been so excited about persuading the school to eat healthy! Our next step was to survey the students about their favorite healthy foods. We split into groups and created a list of foods for each food group that we already have as well as would like to have served in lunch. They surveyed grades 2-5 and the secretaries! They gathered their data and then created graphs. 

Advertising Healthy Eating Habits

The children have taken all of their research and created posters for our own cafeteria in hopes that our student body will choose healthy foods for lunch! They sure are enjoying their artwork as they eat lunch everyday! 

Learning about Time

The class has been practicing time to the 5 minutes, elapsed time, and word problems including time. 

Monster Puppet Shows

The kids wrote short scripts and made monster puppets. They performed their scripts for the class!

Fall Party!!!!

Thanks to our AMAZING room moms our party was a huge success! Fog machines, dry ice punch, a dance party, crafts, and blow up decorations transformed our classroom into the best party ever!
